Anne Hays, MA, LPC, NCC
Anne Hays is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor. She holds a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Louisiana State University (2008), and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from The University of Alabama (1984).
Anne views counseling as an important place to come when individuals, couples or families get stuck relationally. She works to come alongside clients to understand their view of the problem(s). Anne desires to collaborate on a practical, healthy and helpful treatment plan in which clients experience growth and healing. She will use tools such as thinking therapy to pay attention to how clients take in the interactions around them. She will use talk therapy and experiences within sessions to help clients discover and change unhelpful patterns of relating.

As a Christian counselor, Anne will work from a spiritual perspective to help clients harness their faith to deal with the challenges before them. Anne understands that clients have differing views on spirituality and respects their beliefs and values.
Anne has been married to Clayton for 28 years and they have 3 adult-aged children and 1 grandchild. She has served in various roles over the years from stay-at-home Mom to working world to volunteer roles in the community. She has been a Pastor’s wife and she and her husband have served with organizations such as Campus Crusade for Christ and Young Life. Anne is 51 and grew up in Birmingham, Al.
