For more than 10 years, Beau has served as a mental health professional for the Greater Baton Rouge area. He works in both the clinical mental health and private counseling settings. Trained and experienced in a number of therapeutic modalities, he understands and fosters healthy client/therapist rapport and trust. As a result, his clients obtain the most out of their sessions together. He counsels from a Christian worldview in which he was professionally trained and personally believes.
After graduating in Psychology from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2008, Beau went on to study and train in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson Mississippi. He moved back to serve his hometown, Baton Rouge, and college town, Hammond, after graduating from RTS in 2010.
When not at BRCA, Beau serves as the Clinical Director and Family Therapist of The Serenity Treatment Center of Louisiana. Treating and supervising treatment of duel diagnosis patients, while also helping their families, has been a tremendous growth opportunity for him. He has served in the substance addiction and duel diagnosis field since 2013.
Beau has been with BRCA since 2014 working with clients in a number of areas such as; marriage counseling, men's issues, anxiety and depression, special needs families, grief, parenting, addiction, and various other areas of mental health and counseling.
He has shared his knowledge and experience in mental health over the years in speaking, writing and TV opportunities.
Beau has been married to his wife, Sara, since 2008. They have two children
